I found these little gems on a Sunday morning when I was tucked up in bed with a mug of hot chocolate watching Sorted Food videos back-to-back on YouTube. If you haven’t heard of the Sorted guys and you’re a foodie like me go check them out! They are four old school friends (Ben, Barry, Jamie and Mike) who all share a passion for food. But the best part is only one of them can cook…! (Ben). Their videos are both fun but also teach you how to make simple yet tasty food!

( Warning: only do this if you have a lot of time on your hands, these videos are very addictive. Once you start you won’t be able to stop! )
I expected these much-talked about cakes/pies/cookies to be so difficult to make, because it can’t be easy to make something that looks so yummy. It’s too good to be true! But much to my surprise, these heavenly pieces of scrumminess were so quick and easy to make!
I’d been wanting to make them for ages and I thought Mothers’ Day would be the perfect day for it! What better thing to make for your mummy dearest than an indulgent, chocolatey treat which combines all the best things about baking: cakes, biscuits and pies.
These chocolatey goodies are not the healthiest things in the world, but they sure are tasty! When you take your first look at them as you take them out of the oven you’ll say “Well..I’ve just made a cookie…?” But no. Don’t let the whoopie pie fool you.
When you take your first bite and feel the sponginess of it you will at first… feel confused – and then…everything will make sense. You’ll go to a happy place filled with melted marshmallows, springy chocolate cushions, crunchy chocolate chips and smooth, nutty Nutella.
